Wu Bai in Nanjing

Wu Bai is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in 1968, who plays Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien rock with his band China Blue. His best-known songs include “Wanderer’s Love Song,” “Norwegian Forest,” “Last Dance” and “You Are My Flower,” while his albums include Romance of the End and Lonely Bird on a Branch. The Summer Night Wind concerts in 1996 were followed by the Air Raid Warning tour, part of a long run of full-band performances with China Blue. Later concert cycles included You Are My Flower and Rock Star, taking Wu Bai through arenas across Taiwan and other Chinese-speaking markets while retaining China Blue as his touring band.
