Yasmin Levy in Jūrmala

Yasmin Levy is an Israeli singer, born in Jerusalem in 1975, who performs Ladino songs in arrangements shaped by flamenco and Middle Eastern music. She became known through recordings including La Judería, Mano Suave and Sentir, and through her interpretation of the Sephardic song “Una Pastora.” Yasmin Levy has sung at the Royal Albert Hall in London, presenting her Ladino repertoire in a concert-hall setting. Her appearances have also included Carnegie Hall in New York and the Sydney Opera House.
