Yasuyuki Okamura is a Japanese singer-songwriter, producer and dancer born in Kobe in 1965. His funk-driven pop and rock catalog includes the album “Katei Kyoshi” and the songs “Daisuki,” “Karua Milk” and “Viva Namida,” which served as the opening theme for the anime series “Space Dandy.” Yasuyuki Okamura has long billed his concerts as “DATE,” a name associated with his live performances since his early career. He performed at Fuji Rock Festival in 2012 and later mounted the 2016 spring tour “Kofuku.”
