Ye is an American rapper, producer and songwriter, born in Atlanta in 1977 and raised in Chicago. He established his solo career with The College Dropout, followed by albums including Late Registration, Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Yeezus. “Jesus Walks,” “Gold Digger,” “Stronger” and “Heartless” are among his best-known songs. The Glow in the Dark Tour took Ye into arenas in 2008; Rihanna, N.E.R.D and Lupe Fiasco opened on the run. He and Jay-Z later co-headlined Watch the Throne Tour in 2011 and 2012. Yeezus Tour followed, and Saint Pablo Tour placed Ye on a suspended platform above the arena floor. In 2016, Ye premiered The Life of Pablo in an arena event at Madison Square Garden during the unveiling of Yeezy Season 3. The 2021 Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert with Drake was a stadium show at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
