Zach Nugent in Carlisle

Zach Nugent is an American guitarist and bandleader based in Vermont, known for performing the music of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia. He served as lead guitarist for Melvin Seals & JGB and later fronted Zach Nugent’s Dead Set, drawing its repertoire from Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band songs. In 2016, he joined Melvin Seals & JGB and toured with the group until 2018. He subsequently brought the same improvisational songbook to clubs, theatres and festivals through Zach Nugent’s Dead Set. Jerry Jam in New Hampshire and Vermont’s Dead of Summer Music Festival have both hosted Zach Nugent’s Dead Set.
