100 Demons & Death Before Dishonor in Phoenix

100 Demons are an American hardcore band formed in Waterbury, Connecticut, in 1998. Their metallic riffs, forceful breakdowns and direct vocals shape the albums In the Eyes of the Lord and 100 Demons, which include songs such as “Forsaken” and “Repeat Process.” 100 Demons played Hellfest in Syracuse, an important gathering for the US hardcore scene. The band later appeared at This Is Hardcore in Philadelphia and Sound and Fury in Los Angeles, carrying material from both albums into successive generations of hardcore festivals.

Death Before Dishonor is an American hardcore band formed in Boston in 2000. Their music pairs hardcore punk rhythms and breakdowns with metallic guitar weight; albums including Friends Family Forever, Count Me In and Better Ways to Die established songs such as “Break Through It All” and “Peace & Quiet” in their catalogue. In 2007, Death Before Dishonor joined the European Persistence Tour, part of a long record of international club and festival performances. The band has also appeared at This Is Hardcore, bringing its Boston hardcore set to the Philadelphia festival.
