Eventworld ("Eventworld," "Company," "we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our website at eventworld.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Site. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. 1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

• Register for an account (name, email address, profile information);
• Sign in through Google;
• Edit your user profile;
• Follow performers, artists, venues, or cities, or mark events as Interested;
• Subscribe to notifications;
• Contact us via email or other communication channels;
• Participate in surveys, promotions, or other interactive features.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Site, we automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device Information: browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language preferences;
• Log Data: IP address, pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages, referring/exit pages, and click-stream data;
• Location Data: approximate geographic location based on your IP address, used to display relevant events in your area;
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: as described in Section 5 below.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

When you register or log in via Google, we may receive information such as your name, email address, profile picture, and public profile information, as permitted by Google and your privacy settings.

1.4 Page Management

If you request or hold access to manage a performer, team, venue, or organizer page (Section 11 of our Terms of Service), we collect the business contact details you provide, including your name, business email address, the organization you represent, the evidence of authority you submit, and a record of the changes you make. We use this information solely to verify your authority, operate and audit the management process, and contact you about the pages you manage, on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing impersonation and keeping an accurate record of who edited what.

We keep the record of the changes you make for as long as management access is active and for up to 24 months after it ends, so that later disputes over authority can be resolved, after which it is deleted or anonymized. The record of the invitation itself (the address it was sent to and the checks we ran) is kept for as long as the page exists, as our evidence of who was granted access. You may ask us to withdraw your access at any time by writing to privacy@eventworld.com; content published on the Site under the licence in our Terms of Service may remain after your access ends.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Site and its features;
• To create and manage your account;
• To verify, operate, and audit page management access (Section 1.4);
• To personalize your experience, including displaying events relevant to your location and preferences;
• To send you notifications about new events for performers you follow;
• To send you service-related communications (account verification, security alerts, changes to our policies);
• To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
• To analyze Site usage trends and improve the Site's performance and user experience;
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or security breaches;
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data

Eventworld does not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data to third parties for their marketing or commercial purposes. We do not and will not sell your personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), or any other applicable privacy legislation.

We also do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request. California residents may exercise their CCPA/CPRA rights (right to know, right to delete, right to opt out) as described in Sections 8.2 and 9 below.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Site, including:
  • Plausible Analytics — for privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics;
  • SendGrid — for sending transactional and notification emails;
  • Sentry — for error tracking and performance monitoring.
  These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing their services to us and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit the Site. We use only first-party cookies that are either strictly necessary for the Site to function or set at your explicit request:

• EW_Session — session state (sign-in flows, entrance attribution, recently viewed); expires after up to 7 days of inactivity;
• EW_Authorization — remembers your login state; 30 days;
• Anti-forgery tokens — protection against cross-site request forgery (CSRF); session;
• EW_Culture / EW_Currency — remember your language and display currency choices; 1 year;
• EW_Location / EW_RecentLocations / EW_LocationBannerDismissed — remember the city you have chosen, your recently chosen cities, and dismissed city suggestions; persistent.

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Our analytics service, Plausible Analytics, is cookieless and does not track users across websites (see the Plausible Data Policy). Emails we send via SendGrid may use tracking pixels to measure delivery and open rates, and Sentry may collect technical data about errors; these providers operate under their own privacy policies (Twilio Privacy Policy, Sentry Privacy Policy).

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the Site. For users in the EU/EEA/UK: strictly necessary cookies are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and preference cookies are set only in response to an explicit action you take, such as choosing a language, currency, or city (ePrivacy strictly-necessary exemption for user-requested features).

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When your data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain information (e.g., for tax, legal, or auditing purposes).
