Yellowcard is an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. Its pop-punk sound is distinguished by Sean Mackin’s violin, and the 2003 album Ocean Avenue produced the title track, “Way Away” and “Only One.” The band followed it with albums including Lights and Sounds and Paper Walls. Yellowcard played the Vans Warped Tour repeatedly during the 2000s and later mounted a farewell tour that ended at the House of Blues Anaheim in 2017. The band reunited to perform at Riot Fest in Chicago in 2022. In 2023, it marked the twentieth anniversary of Ocean Avenue on a North American tour with Mayday Parade.
Waterparks are an American pop-rock trio formed in Houston in 2011 by singer and guitarist Awsten Knight, guitarist Geoff Wigington and drummer Otto Wood. Their music moves through pop punk, alternative rock and electronic pop; the albums Double Dare, Fandom and Intellectual Property include songs such as “Stupid for You,” “Turbulent” and “Funeral Grey.” In 2017, Waterparks supported All Time Low on dates of the Last Young Renegade Tour. They later led the Entertainment Tour in 2018 and the Fandom Tour in 2019, playing clubs and theatres in North America and Europe. Subsequent headline runs included the See You in the Future Tour and the Property Tour.
