A Perfect Circle in Adelaide

A Perfect Circle is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan. The band became known through the albums Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step, including songs such as “Judith,” “3 Libras” and “Weak and Powerless,” and later released Eat the Elephant. In 2000, A Perfect Circle supported Nine Inch Nails on the Fragility v2.0 tour as their own headline schedule expanded. The band returned to the stage for a series of shows in 2010 and performed at Lollapalooza in 2011. The 2024 Sessanta tour used a rotating-set format and featured collaborations among A Perfect Circle, Primus and Puscifer.

Puscifer is an American experimental rock project created by Tool and A Perfect Circle vocalist Maynard James Keenan. Its music moves through alternative rock, electronics and post-industrial textures, documented on albums including V Is for Vagina, Conditions of My Parole, Money Shot and Existential Reckoning. “The Mission,” “Conditions of My Parole” and “The Remedy” are among its best-known songs. Puscifer staged its first live performances in 2009 at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas. The project later toured productions built around Conditions of My Parole, Money Shot and Existential Reckoning. In 2024, it joined A Perfect Circle and Primus for Sessanta, a shared tour marking Maynard James Keenan’s 60th birthday. Puscifer concerts are full-band theatrical productions shaped around the imagery and characters of each album. The touring ensemble has centered on vocals by Maynard James Keenan and Carina Round, supported by guitarist and keyboardist Mat Mitchell.
