About ABBA
ABBA is a Swedish pop group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. They won the Eurovision Song Contest with “Waterloo” in 1974 and became known for pop and disco songs including “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia” and “Take a Chance on Me,” as well as albums such as Arrival and The Album.
The group toured Europe and Australia in 1977, then took ABBA: The Tour through North America and Europe in 1979, including a run at Wembley Arena. Concerts in Japan in 1980 completed their touring history as a four-member stage act.
ABBA Voyage opened in 2022 at the purpose-built ABBA Arena in London, presenting digital versions of the four members created through motion capture and accompanied by a live band.
