Alberta Cross in Cologne

Alberta Cross is a British-Swedish rock band formed in London in 2005 by singer-guitarist Petter Ericson Stakee and bassist Terry Wolfers. Their rootsy indie rock first appeared on the EP The Thief & the Heartbreaker, followed by the albums Broken Side of Time and Songs of Patience. “ATX” and “Old Man Chicago” are among their best-known songs. Alberta Cross supported Oasis on tour and later opened for Them Crooked Vultures, while its own headline dates took the band through clubs and theatres in Britain and the United States. The band also played Coachella and Lollapalooza, and performed at Bonnaroo during the touring cycle for Broken Side of Time.
