Alex Britti is an Italian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Rome in 1968, who plays blues-rooted pop rock. He is known for songs including “Solo una volta (o tutta la vita),” “Oggi sono io,” “La vasca” and “7000 caffè,” and for the albums It.Pop and La vasca.

At the 1999 Sanremo Music Festival, he won the Newcomers section with “Oggi sono io.” He later returned to the event with “Sono contento,” “7000 caffè” and “Un attimo importante,” while the 2008 concert release Alex Britti MTV Unplugged documented his guitar-led live arrangements.
