Antje Duvekot & Dan Bern in Beverly

Antje Duvekot is a German-born American folk singer-songwriter known for intimate acoustic songs built around narrative lyrics. Her albums include Big Dream Boulevard, The Near Demise of the High Wire Dancer and New Siberia, while “Merry-Go-Round” and “Dandelion” are among her signature songs. Antje Duvekot has performed at the Newport Folk Festival and the Kerrville Folk Festival, and she has also appeared on Mountain Stage. Her New England concerts have included repeat engagements at Club Passim in Cambridge and Jonathan’s in Ogunquit.

Dan Bern is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Mount Vernon, Iowa, in 1965. He writes folk and folk-rock songs marked by political commentary, humor and narrative detail, and is known for “Jerusalem,” the albums Fifty Eggs and New American Language, and songs written for the film Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Dan Bern toured with Ani DiFranco during his early recording years and later opened concerts for The Who. His headline performances have included solo acoustic sets and full-band shows billed as Dan Bern and the International Jewish Banking Conspiracy.
