Assassin in Herouille St Clair

Assassin is a French hip-hop group formed in Paris in the 1980s by Rockin’ Squat and Solo. Its politically direct, independent-minded rap is represented by albums including Le futur que nous réserve-t-il ?, L’Homicide volontaire and Touche d’espoir. The 1996 concert album Live documented Assassin’s stage work after L’Homicide volontaire. The group later performed material from Touche d’espoir at the Olympia in Paris, a concert preserved in Assassin Live à l’Olympia.
