BAMBARA are an American post-punk band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 2009 and later based in Brooklyn. Their music pairs noise-rock guitars with Reid Bateh’s narrative vocals; the albums Shadow on Everything and Stray include songs such as “Serafina,” “Miracle” and “Heat Lightning.” BAMBARA toured North America and Europe behind Shadow on Everything and then Stray, playing headline club dates between support runs. They also opened on tours by IDLES and Gilla Band.
