About Bare Egil Band
Bare Egil Band is a Norwegian comedy-rock one-man project created by singer and guitarist Egil Hegerberg in 1990. Its songs pair rock and acoustic songwriting with absurd humour and satire; the album Absolutt ikke Bare Egil Band introduced enduring tracks including “Arne,” “Tagging” and “Sko.”
The act began performing in 1990 and was put aside in 1998 before returning in 2003. The resumed concerts retained its established solo format: Norwegian-language songs, spoken comedy and acoustic guitar performed by Egil Hegerberg.
