Basement are an English rock band formed in Ipswich in 2009. Their music draws on melodic hardcore, emo and alternative rock, and they are known for albums including Colourmeinkindness, Promise Everything and Beside Myself, as well as songs such as “Covet,” “Pine” and “Promise Everything.” Basement played a farewell show at The Underworld in London before beginning a hiatus in 2012. They returned to performing in 2014 and appeared at Reading and Leeds Festivals the following year. In 2022, the band marked the tenth anniversary of Colourmeinkindness by playing the album in full, including a concert at O2 Academy Brixton.
Momma is an American indie-rock band formed in Los Angeles by songwriters and guitarists Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten. The group’s guitar-driven catalog includes the albums Two of Me, Household Name and Welcome to My Blue Sky, as well as songs such as “Speeding 72,” “Medicine” and “Ohio All the Time.” Momma played Coachella in 2023 after touring clubs and theatres behind Household Name. Later that year, the band opened outdoor amphitheatre dates on Weezer’s Indie Rock Roadtrip.
