Bebe in Barcelona

Bebe is a Spanish singer-songwriter and actress, born María Nieves Rebolledo Vila in Valencia in 1978. Her debut album, Pafuera telarañas, introduced her direct, flamenco-tinged pop through songs including “Malo,” “Ella” and “Siempre me quedará”; later records include Y., Un pokito de rocanrol and Cambio de piel. Bebe toured Spain and Latin America following Pafuera telarañas, then returned to concert work after releasing Y. Her shows use a live band and draw on the rhythmic arrangements and close-up vocals of her records; in 2015, she performed at the Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar.
