Benjamin Tod is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Tennessee who plays country, folk and Americana. He is also the singer and principal songwriter of Lost Dog Street Band. His solo catalogue includes the albums I Will Rise, A Heart of Gold Is Hard to Find and Songs I Swore I’d Never Sing, while “Using Again” is among his best-known songs with the band. Benjamin Tod spent years touring as the frontman of Lost Dog Street Band before bringing his solo catalogue to the stage under his own name. He has performed both solo with an acoustic guitar and in a full-band country format, including appearances at the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium.

Lost Dog Street Band is an American dark-country and folk group formed in 2010 by singer-songwriter Benjamin Tod and fiddler Ashley Mae. The band is known for stark acoustic arrangements and songs including “September Doves” and “Terrible and True,” as well as the albums Rage and Tragedy, Weight of a Trigger and Glory. Benjamin Tod and Ashley Mae spent the band’s early years traveling and performing on street corners, at house shows and in small venues. In 2022, Lost Dog Street Band mounted the farewell-billed The Last Tour with Matt Heckler, including a performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
