Black Flag is an American hardcore punk band formed in Hermosa Beach, California, in 1976 by guitarist Greg Ginn. Its catalog includes the early EP Nervous Breakdown and the albums Damaged and My War, as well as songs such as “Rise Above,” “TV Party” and “Six Pack.” In the early 1980s, Black Flag toured clubs and improvised venues across North America and Europe. Live ’84 documented a performance at the Stone in San Francisco, while Who’s Got the 10½? was recorded at the Starry Night in Portland in 1985. After the original run ended in 1986, later reunions included performances in 2003 and a renewed touring lineup led by Greg Ginn in 2013.
††† (Crosses) is an American electronic rock project formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by Deftones singer Chino Moreno, Far guitarist Shaun Lopez and bassist Chuck Doom. Its atmospheric mix of electronics, trip-hop and alternative rock took shape across a series of EPs and the self-titled album †††, followed by Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete. Key tracks include “The Epilogue,” “Bitches Brew” and “Invisible Hand.” In 2014, ††† (Crosses) toured North America behind the self-titled album and performed at Coachella. Moreno and Lopez returned to the stage in 2023, then took the Familiar World Tour through North America and Europe in 2024; the North American leg included a concert at the Hollywood Palladium.
