Blackstreet is an American R&B group formed in 1991 by producer Teddy Riley and singer Chauncey Hannibal. The group became known for new jack swing and contemporary R&B songs including “No Diggity,” featuring Dr. Dre and Queen Pen, “Before I Let You Go” and “Don’t Leave Me,” as well as the albums Blackstreet and Another Level. At the 1997 MTV Europe Music Awards in Rotterdam, Blackstreet performed during the Another Level era. The group later appeared in the 2016 Soul Train Music Awards tribute to Teddy Riley, contributing to a medley that also drew on his work with Guy.
