Blitzkid is an American horror-punk band formed in Bluefield, West Virginia, in 1997 by Argyle Goolsby and TB Monstrosity. Melodic punk rock and horror-film imagery define records including Five Cellars Below, Anatomy of Reanimation and Apparitional, while “Love Like Blood” and “Mary and the Storm” became signature songs. Blitzkid spent the 2000s playing clubs across the United States and Europe. After ending its original run in 2012, the band reunited and returned to American venues on the Escape the Grave Tour in 2022.
