Bobby Bare Jr. in San Francisco

Bobby Bare Jr. is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist born in Nashville in 1966. The son of country singer Bobby Bare, he appeared as a child on his father’s song “Daddy What If,” which received a Grammy nomination. He later led the rock band Bare Jr. before recording alt-country and indie rock under his own name, including the albums Young Criminals’ Starvation League, The Longest Meow and Undefeated. Tours behind Young Criminals’ Starvation League and The Longest Meow took his full band through clubs and theatres across North America. His life on the road and the demands of balancing touring with parenthood became the subject of the documentary Don’t Follow Me (I’m Lost).
