Bongzilla is an American sludge and stoner metal band formed in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1995. The group is known for cannabis-centered lyrics, down-tuned riffs and albums including Gateway, Amerijuanican and Weedsconsin. Bongzilla played Roadburn Festival in Tilburg in 2007 before entering a hiatus. After re-forming in 2015, they resumed touring and performed at Psycho Las Vegas. A 2021 hometown performance was later issued as the live album Live from Weedsconsin, recorded at High Noon Saloon.
