About boygenius

boygenius is an American indie-rock trio formed in 2018 by singer-songwriters Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus. Their self-titled EP introduced the collaboration, while the 2023 album the record brought songs including “Not Strong Enough,” “Emily I’m Sorry” and “Cool About It.”

The trio’s first North American tour in 2018 featured individual sets by each member followed by a joint boygenius performance. They returned to concert stages in 2023, leading the traveling Re:SET Concert Series as a full band.

In 2023 they performed outdoors at Coachella in Indio and played an arena concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. They closed the run on Halloween at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
