About Brandsta City Släckers
Brandsta City Släckers are a Swedish pop-rock band formed in Helsingborg in 1994 by a group of firefighters. They are best known for “Kom och ta mig,” the upbeat song they took to Melodifestivalen in 2002, and for the follow-up entry “15 minuter.”
In 2002, the band performed “Kom och ta mig” in the Melodifestivalen final at Stockholm Globe Arena. They returned to the televised competition the following year to perform “15 minuter,” giving Brandsta City Släckers a second run on the Melodifestivalen stage.
