About Brian Posehn
Brian Posehn is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer born in Sacramento in 1966. His comedy frequently draws on heavy metal, horror, comic books and family life. He is known for his work on Mr. Show, The Sarah Silverman Program and The Big Bang Theory, as well as stand-up releases including Live In: Nerd Rage and The Fartist.
In 2004, he joined Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford and Zach Galifianakis for The Comedians of Comedy, which brought stand-up sets to independent rock clubs across the United States. The tour was subsequently documented in a film directed by Michael Blieden and a Comedy Central series.
