About Broken Records
Broken Records are a Scottish indie rock band formed in Edinburgh in 2006. Their songs use guitars, piano and folk instrumentation, including violin and cello. The band became known through the 4AD album Until the Earth Begins to Part and songs such as “If the News Makes You Sad, Don’t Watch It,” followed by records including Let Me Come Home and Weights & Pulleys.
Broken Records supported The National during their early years. In 2009 they toured behind their debut album and performed at Glastonbury Festival and T in the Park.
