Bruce Robison in San Antonio

Bruce Robison is an American country singer-songwriter born in Bandera, Texas, in 1966. He is especially known for writing “Travelin’ Soldier,” recorded by the Chicks, “Angry All the Time,” recorded by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and the George Strait songs “Wrapped” and “Desperately.” His own catalogue includes the albums Bruce Robison and Long Way Home from Anywhere. In 2013, Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis toured together behind their duet album Cheater’s Game, followed by further joint shows after Our Year. Their Texas performances have repeatedly included Gruene Hall, while their recurring Holiday Shindig has also been staged at the Paramount Theatre in Austin.
