Carrot Top in Cedar Rapids

Carrot Top is the stage name of Scott Thompson, an American comedian born in 1965. He is known for prop-based stand-up, rapid one-liners and his bright red hair, as well as appearances on television and in the comedy film Chairman of the Board. Carrot Top began performing stand-up while studying at Florida Atlantic University, then developed his act through years of comedy-club touring. In 2005 he opened a residency at the Luxor, where his show is built around topical jokes and a succession of handmade visual props. The residency is the center of his live schedule, and he bases most of his stage work in Las Vegas.
