Artist
Casual is an American rapper from Oakland and a member of the Hieroglyphics collective. His 1994 debut album, Fear Itself, introduced his battle-focused delivery and included the single “That’s How It Is.” His solo catalog also includes He Think He Raw and The Return of the Backpack. Casual has performed under his own name and as part of Hieroglyphics, presenting solo material alongside the collective’s group repertoire. His live history also includes appearances at Hiero Day, the annual festival organized by Hieroglyphics.
