About Chon
Chon is an American instrumental rock band formed in Oceanside, California, in 2008. Its music centers on intricate math-rock guitar parts, progressive structures and jazz-fusion rhythms. The band is known for the albums Grow, Homey and Chon, as well as tracks including “Perfect Pillow” and “Bubble Dream.”
Chon supported Circa Survive on the Descensus tour in 2015, then built its own North American headline runs around Grow and Homey. In 2019, the band reunited with Polyphia for the Super Chon Bros Tour 2, joined by TTNG and Tricot, and also performed at Coachella.
