CMAT in Los Angeles

CMAT is the stage name of Irish singer-songwriter Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, who was born in Dublin in 1996. Her country-pop songs pair conversational writing with large pop choruses; she is known for “I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!”, “Nashville” and the albums If My Wife New I’d Be Dead and Crazymad, for Me. During the 2023 touring cycle for Crazymad, for Me, CMAT headlined 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin. She headlined an outdoor show at Fairview Park in June 2024, then performed at Glastonbury Festival later that month.
