Cud are an English indie-rock band formed in Leeds in 1987. Their catalogue pairs Carl Puttnam’s vocals with wiry guitar pop, and includes the albums When in Rome, Kill Me, Leggy Mambo and Asquarius, plus songs such as “Rich and Strange” and “Purple Love Balloon.” In 1989, Cud supported Pixies on a British tour. The following year they performed before The Stone Roses at the Spike Island concert.
