About Curly Strings
Curly Strings is an Estonian folk band formed in 2013, playing original songs shaped by bluegrass and local folk traditions on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and double bass. The group became widely known for “Kauges külas,” included on its debut album, Üle ilma.
Curly Strings have taken their acoustic quartet format beyond Estonia, including concert tours in Japan. At home, the band has performed at the Viljandi Folk Music Festival.
