About Dangerous Toys
Dangerous Toys are an American hard-rock band formed in Austin, Texas, in 1987, fronted by singer Jason McMaster. Their self-titled 1989 debut introduced their best-known songs, “Teas'n, Pleas'n” and “Scared,” while the follow-up album Hellacious Acres carried their mix of glam-metal hooks and Southern-rock grit into the early 1990s.
In 1991, Dangerous Toys toured North American amphitheaters on Operation Rock & Roll alongside Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Motörhead and Metal Church. The band later made periodic reunion appearances, including hometown performances in Austin.
