Caribou is the electronic project of Canadian musician Dan Snaith, who was born in 1978 and raised in Ontario. He records electronic pop, house and psychedelic music, first releasing work as Manitoba before adopting the Caribou name. Key releases include the albums Swim, Our Love and Suddenly, as well as the songs “Odessa” and “Can’t Do Without You.” Tours behind Swim and Our Love brought Snaith’s studio work to the stage as a full-band performance, where he moved among vocals, keyboards, guitar and drums. Those album cycles included appearances at Primavera Sound and Coachella. After Suddenly, the band returned to major festival stages in 2022, including Glastonbury.
