David Archuleta in San Francisco

David Archuleta is an American pop singer born in Miami in 1990 and raised in Utah. He became known as the runner-up on the seventh season of American Idol, then released the single “Crush” and his self-titled debut album. His catalog also includes The Other Side of Down and the holiday album Christmas from the Heart. The 2008 American Idols Live! Tour put him on arenas across the United States and Canada with the season’s other finalists. He followed it with a solo headlining tour in 2009 and later opened for Demi Lovato that summer. In 2011, the My Kind of Christmas Tour brought his holiday repertoire and pop material to theatres across the United States.
