Delicate Steve in Madison

Delicate Steve is an American instrumental rock project led by New Jersey guitarist Steve Marion. He introduced the project with the 2011 album Wondervisions, followed by records including Positive Force, This Is Steve and Till I Burn Up, using electric guitar as the melodic voice over indie-rock, pop and funk rhythms. Delicate Steve tours as a full band, with Marion playing the wordless lead lines at the center of the arrangements. The project has toured with Mac DeMarco and performed an NPR Tiny Desk Concert built around Marion’s guitar and the band’s rhythm section.
