Diorama are a German darkwave and synthpop band formed in Reutlingen in 1996 by singer, songwriter and keyboardist Torben Wendt. Their catalogue pairs electronic rhythms and synthesizers with piano-led writing and includes the albums Pale, Her Liquid Arms, A Different Life and Zero Soldier Army. Diorama toured with VNV Nation during the Futureperfect era, presenting the material through a live band led by Wendt. They later performed at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and M’era Luna in Hildesheim, placing their club-based electronic show on two major gothic festival stages.
