Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop-rock band formed in Tokyo in 1999, centered on vocalist Tomiko Van and guitarist Ryo Owatari; songwriter Dai Nagao was part of the original trio. The group is known for songs including “Fukai Mori,” “Shinjitsu no Uta” and “Rakuen,” all associated with the Inuyasha anime franchise, as well as albums such as Deep Forest and True Song. Do As Infinity built its early following through street performances in Shibuya after its 1999 debut, then moved into concert halls and national tours. The group marked its 2005 breakup with Do As Infinity -Final- at Nippon Budokan; after re-forming in 2008, it returned with a free concert at Yoyogi Park.
