Electric Six are an American rock band formed in Detroit in 1996, originally performing as the Wildbunch. Their music draws on garage rock, punk and disco, and they became known for “Danger! High Voltage” and “Gay Bar,” both included on the 2003 debut album Fire. In 2003, Electric Six brought the Fire repertoire to the Reading and Leeds festivals as their touring expanded beyond clubs. The band followed with extensive concert runs in North America and Europe, and performed at Coachella in 2004.
