About Element Of Crime
Element Of Crime are a German rock band formed in West Berlin in 1985, led by singer, songwriter and trumpeter Sven Regener. After beginning with English-language material, they made German lyrics central to their work. Their best-known recordings include “Weißes Papier,” “Delmenhorst” and the album Mittelpunkt der Welt.
The band’s 2023 tour became the subject of Charly Hübner’s concert documentary Wenn es dunkel und kalt wird in Berlin. The film follows rehearsals and performances and includes their open-air concert at the Waldbühne.
