Elena Roger is an Argentine singer and musical-theatre actress, born in Buenos Aires in 1974. She is known for portraying Eva Perón and Edith Piaf, and received the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Piaf. The 2006 West End revival of Evita cast her as Eva Perón at the Adelphi Theatre. She followed it with Piaf at the Donmar Warehouse in 2008, and the production later transferred to the Vaudeville Theatre. In 2012, she made her Broadway debut at the Marquis Theatre, reprising Eva opposite Ricky Martin.
