About Ellen Allien
Ellen Allien is a German DJ, producer and label founder from Berlin whose music moves through techno, electro and minimal electronic styles. She founded BPitch Control and is known for albums including Stadtkind, Berlinette and Thrills, as well as Orchestra of Bubbles, her collaboration with Apparat.
During the 1990s, she played early sets at Fischlabor and Tresor before establishing the BPitch Control party series at WMF. She later brought her DJ sets to clubs including Berghain and fabric, while festival appearances included Sónar.
