Erol Evgin & Aşkın Nur Yengi in Muğla

Erol Evgin is a Turkish pop singer and actor, born in Istanbul in 1947. He became known in the 1970s through songs created with composer Melih Kibar and lyricist Çiğdem Talu, including “İşte Öyle Bir Şey,” “Sevdan Olmasa,” “Bir de Bana Sor” and “Söyle Canım.” During the 1980s, he took leading roles in the stage musicals Hisseli Harikalar Kumpanyası and Şen Sazın Bülbülleri, both directed by Haldun Dormen. His later concert work has returned to the Talu-Kibar repertoire in orchestral programs, including performances at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre.

Aşkın Nur Yengi is a Turkish pop singer from Istanbul whose solo recording career began with the album Sevgiliye. Her catalog includes the albums Hesap Ver and Kara Çiçeğim, as well as songs such as “Seni Aldattım” and “Ay İnanmıyorum.” Before her solo debut, she worked as a backing vocalist for Sezen Aksu and appeared with Harun Kolçak in Turkey’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her subsequent concerts have featured songs including “Ayrılmam” and “Yazık,” and she has performed at Istanbul’s Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre.
