Flatland Cavalry is an American country band formed in Lubbock, Texas, in 2012. Its fiddle-led Texas country and Red Dirt sound runs through the albums Humble Folks, Homeland Insecurity and Welcome to Countryland; widely known songs include “A Life Where We Work Out,” recorded with Kaitlin Butts, and “Mountain Song.” Flatland Cavalry made its Grand Ole Opry debut in 2021. The band later mounted the Wandering Star Tour, headlining theatres and outdoor venues around the United States.
