About Flunk
Flunk are a Norwegian electronic band formed in Oslo around producer Ulf Nygaard, guitarist Jo Bakke, vocalist Anja Øyen Vister and drummer Erik Ruud. Their downtempo trip-hop is best known through their cover of New Order’s “Blue Monday” and albums including For Sleepyheads Only, Morning Star and Personal Stereo.
Following For Sleepyheads Only, Flunk began performing as a four-piece and took the album’s programmed arrangements into a full-band setting. They later played clubs and festivals across Europe and toured in the United States and China.
