Frank Lüdecke in Stuttgart

Frank Lüdecke is a German cabaret performer, author and director, born in Berlin in 1961. His political and social satire examines public language, middle-class habits and contemporary German life; his solo programmes include Verwilderung and Über die Verhältnisse. At Düsseldorf’s Kom(m)ödchen, Frank Lüdecke performed as part of the theatre’s ensemble before developing his solo stage work. He subsequently toured German cabaret theatres with programmes including Das Falsche muss nicht immer richtig sein, and later became artistic director of Die Stachelschweine in Berlin.
