Frejat is a Brazilian singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1962, who co-founded the rock band Barão Vermelho. His work with Cazuza produced songs including “Pro Dia Nascer Feliz” and “Bete Balanço”; his solo catalogue includes “Amor pra Recomeçar” and “Segredos.”

Frejat appeared with Barão Vermelho at the inaugural Rock in Rio in 1985, during the period when the group established its national audience. He later carried songs from the band and his solo records into his own concerts, documented by the concert project MTV ao Vivo.
